Questions buyers actually ask

Is this the same sequence the product implements?+

Yes. Marketing processes, demo playbooks, and Playwright critical flows (CF-01 advisor money, CF-02 DVI, CF-04 booking check-in, CF-05 portal) share this spine. Domain canTransition in @wrench/domain is the source of truth for legal board moves — not this page.

Why are invoiced jobs missing from the job board?+

On purpose. The live board banner states that only WIP stages appear. Invoiced and paid jobs stay on Repair Orders so the floor map is not a history dump.

Are the dashboard numbers from a real customer shop?+

No. Captures are from the seeded multi-tenant demo garage. Some widgets are LIVE from that seed; bay utilisation and gross margin may show MOCK FALLBACK. We label sources rather than invent SOC2 or customer logos.

Is Stripe / SMS / Xero “connected”?+

No Connected theatre. Payment records are Live. Stripe Checkout is a stub without keys and live when configured. SMS is mock until Twilio is keyed. Xero export is Dry-run. Read /integrations and Settings in the demo.

What should I force in a vendor demo — including ours?+

Walk-in RO under three minutes. Portal or SMS approval. Parts short that changes board stage. Invoice from the RO. How a new tech is trained. What happens to data if you leave. Full list: /resources/buyer-checklist.

Where do labour, QC, and payment sit — they used to be missing from the rail?+

Labour clocks only after the job is legally In progress (authorised; parts not faking occupancy). Ready is QC intent on the live board column — not a separate QC login, hoist interlock, or IoT gate. Payment is a distinct stage after the GST invoice: issued is not collected. The clock rail lists all seventeen stages without a horizontal scrollbar.

Where do fleet, warranty, and Process Studio fit in the day?+

They are adjacent, not the happy-path money spine. Fleet is a Partial PO/threshold shell — not a fleet customer portal. Warranty is entity tracking, not an insurer API. Process Studio is Partial simulate-first automation. Each has its own process page.
