[FOUNDER] spent years watching independent automotive workshops in Australia run their business across three or four disconnected tools — a legacy job card system, a spreadsheet for deferred work, a whiteboard for the bay, and accounting software that never talked to any of them.

The gap wasn't feature-level — it was architectural. Every existing AU workshop software product was designed either as a ticket printer or a port of a US system with no understanding of AU tax, AU parts suppliers, or the workflow of an owner-operator who is also on the tools three days a week.

Workshop Wrench was started in 2026 to build one system that takes a vehicle from first contact through paid invoice — with GST-correct documents, AU-native parts integrations, and owner intelligence built in from day one.
