Onboarding · wrecker customers
PUBLIC_SELF_SERVE_TRIAL = false
New wrecker customers do not self-serve into a live marketplace. Public self-serve trial is paused. Start with a demo, then a Day-0 pack that a yard operator can actually complete.
Public self-serve trial is paused. Wrecker onboarding starts with a demo request, not a signup card.

Complete before anyone lists
Four concrete steps. Complete them in order — each unlocks the next. No shortcuts and no automated shortcut for the ones marked as pilot scope.
Create account
Wrecker onboarding starts with a demo conversation, not a form and a credit card. Public self-serve trial is paused. We will set up your tenant and walk through the initial configuration with you.
Pilot gate: No automated signup. Demo request only.
ABN specimen
Collect a specimen ABN pack for the trading entity. This is paperwork, not a live ABR call, and not a KYC pass. A wrecker may sell recycled parts and still buy surplus or complete-a-job items. Record both org roles before anyone treats the account as “seller-only”.
Pilot gate: ABN is a specimen — no live ABR lookup, no verified-business badge.
Add vehicles / stock · list first part
Name the person who will run quote → pick → will-call exceptions. The local seller dispatch desk is a pilot surface when the stack is up on port 3103. Add a single part manually — use the identifiers your yard already uses: donor, part, grade, bin, condition. Bulk harvest CSV comes later, after Day-0 identity and dispatch ownership are confirmed.
Pilot scope: Manual single-part entry only on Day-0. Harvest CSV is a later, dry-run step.
Test B2B enquiry · will-call window
Agree a collection window the counter can keep current. Do not skip this for a freight integration that is not connected. Walk through a test buyer enquiry on the local Parts Exchange app (port 3103 when the stack is running). Confirm the quote → pick → will-call loop works with your counter team before going live.
Local pilot only: The local PE app is not a production marketplace. No carrier or payment is connected at this step.
Bulk listing preflight is later. Do not make a CSV drop a Day-0 gate, and do not describe a dry-run import as live catalogue sync.
Stripe Connect, AusPost, and ABR stay gated until there is remote evidence. Local-pilot UI is not that evidence.
Opens the local-pilot marketplace web app on port 3103 when your machine is running the stack. It is not a production marketplace, not a public buyer directory, and not a nationwide stock guarantee.
No. PUBLIC_SELF_SERVE_TRIAL is false. Request a demo. A wrecker tenant is not created from the public signup card.
No. You bring a specimen. Live ABR / KYC is a gated partner, not an onboarding checkbox that turns green automatically.
After Day-0 identity and dispatch ownership. Harvest CSV is later, dry-run first, and is not a live mutating import from this page.
Request a demo to start wrecker onboarding.
No self-serve signup card. Bring the ABN specimen and who owns dispatch.
